Welcome
In creating this blog, I hope to share with other like-minded people my interest in observing and intuiting earth changes, such as earthquakes and other natural activity, before they may occur.
Instead of using the words prophecy, prediction and/or pre-empting, I tend to use the word ‘feeling’ or ‘feelings’ to describe the inklings I get regarding potential earthquakes and other earthly events.
Since I was a small child my intuition and feelings prior to numerous earthly ‘events’ were confirmed as time passed. Now, I am not always correct. I am no great wise one with infinite abilities to foresee events.
I hope to post interesting links, Youtube videos and my own observations/feelings regarding earthquakes, volcanoes and such.
One thing I'd like to add here, is that I am aware that some earthquake and other natural events can adversely affect many people and their communities. So whatever I add to this blog is not for reasons of sensationalism or for satisfaction of confirmation of any 'feelings' I may have about events. I always am considerate and empathetic to/of the impact of such things.

October 2013
I haven't been posting here for a while, but have been 'active' over on WeatherZone Australia - General Science on a daily basis.
In the side bar (to the right on my blog), is a slideshow of the 'time-line' of behaviour of the Louisiana Sinkhole. This has been a sad situation which I have followed for a while now. It's quite creepy how stealthily this sinkhole has spread and has seemingly forever changed the lives of the folks who used to call it home - where their roots are and personal histories. Some disasters see peoples displaced temporarily, with many able to return to rebuild a semblance of their original lives. But this appears to be one where such a displacement will be permanent. My thoughts to those who have lost hope for their homes and future there.
So much has been happening in the world, with Fukushima, new islands emerging in the seas, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and so on. Sometimes it feels like it's a challenge to keep up with.
Anyway, for now and with wishes for peace and safety to/for all,
Louise from Oz.

Earthquake Forum - Australia
Weatherzone - General Science - Earthquakes is an active Australian forum which chats about earthquakes and tremor activity in Oz and around the world. The views on this great forum have really taken off in the last few months. Currently we have amassed 110195 views and counting.
If you want to join our vibrant conversations there, just sign up and add your ideas and comments there.
This is one of my favourite sites and there are many very knowledgeable individuals there on many subjects.
I have been a member there for a short time compared to many others and have no financial interests in this site, but it is the one I am very happy to be a member of.
As far as my blog here goes, I will keep putting up my notes on quakes/tremors and other links to stories from other sites each month. Though I am busy with writing my latest book (Autism Spectrum), I will be continuing my attention to this blog and the forum.
For now, stay safe and peace to all.

Earthquake Clouds
I will fill in this post with some pics, links and info on earthquake cloud formations. Some don't believe in this phenomenon, but I feel that such does exist.
I am currently discussing some of this phenomenon, I feel was evident in Melbourne this week, on Weatherzone - see Weatherzone Forums - General Science - Duckweather posts
Cheers for now ;)
Now...to start of here are some links to some very interesting sites;

June 2013 - Part 2 of 3
All the notes I had
typed for Part 2 and Part 3 for June have been eaten up in one of my computers,
which has decided give up the ghost and go to computer heaven.
So, I’ll do my best to remember
what I had put together late in May for the June post.
African
continent
The
northern coastline of Africa may experience movements, some associated or near
to the Mediterranean Sea and islands.
Maybe
Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and NW Libya could experience tremors up to
M4.
The North
Atlantic, near the coast of Africa and offshore (maybe central Atlantic) may
produce moderate EQ’s which, if close enough to the coast, could produce some
water disturbances.
Near Liberia,
Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, the Gulf of Guinea and maybe west of Namibia may
experience moderate to lesser tremors.
SW or south of Cape Town (offshore) may
experience an M3+(?).
Eastern
DR Congo and Tanzania may experience an M3 (or +?).
The
northern Somalia and Eritrea regions may experience an M3(+?).
Mediterranean
Greece
may continue to experience rumbles from M1+ to M3. There maybe an M3+(+?) near
Naples, Athens, Crete, Cyprus, southern Greece, Italy.
Western
Europe
Romania,
Austria, Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina, Macedonia, Poland, Czech Republic,
Belarus, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Norway,
Sweden, England, Ireland, Scotland and Belarus may all feel tremors from M1 to
M2.
M3’s
may occur in Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, France, England/Ireland,
Portugal, Spain, Norway and offshore/coast for those countries near the
Atlantic.
Iceland,
Svalbard and further north again, may experience M2+ to a potential M4+.
Words…
Words
which are sticking with me (and make of them what you will) are Atlantis
(Atlantic), Isle, Dun-?, canal and ?-ham, Saint or Santa. (this applies globally,
not just in Europe)
Fort, ravine,
pass, forest, riviere, inlet and ‘golden’, ‘silver’, ‘sterling’ (some word
relating to a metal name) are some others which have crossed my mind
recently/currently.
There
may be landslips from torrential rains and volcanic or EQ tremors; some land
deformation from building volcanic pressures or even land deformation from
earth movement in some places.
A new
sinkhole scenario may bring this unnerving topic back into the news globally.
A new sea/water
life beaching or poisoning may also become new news.
Some
more booms, hums and harmonic sounds may be observed, maybe even one which can
be experienced almost wordwide (this could just be reverberations from a large
EQ in a region) or it may be geo-electric/magnetic in origin (or even emanating
from some solar activity).
All of
the above are just feelings and not predictions. I may or will be inaccurate
with such, some or all.
My
thoughts are with friends and those we don’t know in the US regions, who are
experiencing deadly tornadoes currently.
More on
the other country’s region soon, as I get time to redo these notes.
Peace
and safety to all.

June 2013 - Part 1 of 3
"Beacon" by Prozac1
My
general feeling for June is that water/sea may be a feature of one or more
events on the earthquake and possibly the volcanic front.
Regarding
EQ’s, I get a feeling that there may be an EQ event which could spark a water
level disturbance ( what may be termed as a tsunami – from potential mild land
inundation to maybe a more serious issue – not sure about the degree though). The regions which, at the moment of typing
this post, I am somewhat drawn to are the Atlantic region – maybe more towards
the northern reaches to the mid-Atlantic regions. Another maybe the northern
reaches of the Pacific Ocean to the NE regions and/or the NW regions. Hawaii
may experience some water level disturbances and some stronger currents
sweeping around the islands. This may not be major.
Australia
may experience high tides in some places and possibly a mild impact from sea
level rise disturbance from an offshore (sea or other country’s) plate shift occurrence.
This may sweep down a considerable stretch of Australian coastline. This may
only be a situation which causes beach erosion or a king tide kind of
situation. Again, as with Hawaii, water currents may be stronger than usual.
Similarly,
there may be a disturbance emanating from the Indian Ocean and/or possibly from
the south of the Australian mainland, above Antarctica.
More
meteorites may be observed, with possibly some sort of an earth impact by one
or two – not meaning disaster, but more of a spectacle or even a sonic boom
produced by one or two.
Regarding
volcanoes, several may become an issue for their local communities, maybe
disturbing air traffic. Lava flows, pyroclastic and rock flows may be an issue
for one or two. The tremors emanating from one or two may cause infrastructure
problems – maybe some tunnels, roads etc..
An
undersea volcano or two may become more active and may cause pumice to rise to
the sea surface, indicating such movements.
A
volcano, slightly offshore from a mainland may be red-zoned, with tourism
ceased for this region. An inland volcano, maybe in the Mediterranean and/or
Asia may become a problem for communities nearby, also ceasing tourism
temporarily and displacing some.
UNITED
STATES
The California
coastline may continue to experience M1, M2 and M3+’s. I have been ‘watching’
this region and commenting on such on Weatherzone. I mentioned the LA down to
San Diego regions may come up with a moderate quake (M5’ish) and unfortunately it
did. This region, down to Baja and back up to near the Oregon border may
experience another moderate tremor in June. It seems that the plates in these
regions are moving/grinding in a moderately active way. Which is not uncommon
for them to do, but I feel a grind and ‘pull’ maybe occurring currently, which
could give rise to the further movements I am talking about here.
The
region from Nevada, including the Yellowstone and other national park regions
may continue (again not unusual) to experience M1’s, M2’s and maybe an M3+.
Yellowstone is drawing me to it a little and/or the western side of it for
maybe an M3+(?).
Inland
US – the states which currently draw me to them for potential M1’s, M2’s and/or
M3 maybe S/W Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nevada (including near Las Vegas),
Tennessee, Washington, Texas, Western Montana, Idaho, Missouri and Pennsylvania. Rhode Island included.
For
some reason I am also stuck on the word “Fort”. This is resonating with me for
a mild tremor, as is the word “Atlanta” (“Atlantas” is the actual word which is
stuck with me atm).
Louisiana
and up the Mississippi River is drawing me to it for some reason – maybe a
river related issue.
New
York (state)/Vermont/Maine regions are also drawing me to them – maybe just a
mild tremor.
Weather
emanating from the Atlantic may become an issue for the eastern states
coastlines.
AUSTRALIA
Koorda
in Western Australia has been enduring an earthquake cluster recently, mainly
M1’s, M2’s and an M3 till now. This may be a prelude to a larger tremor or the
smaller tremors may have been ‘for’ and ‘after’ shocks from the M3.
Western
Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania, Canberra, New South Wales and South
Australia may all come up with more small tremors. SA, WA and possibly Victoria
may come up with a moderate tremor (M3+?).
Queensland
has experienced a tremor recently, near Brisbane, and I feel that they may feel
another in June.
I am
still feeling an energy emanating from the ocean, south of the Australian
mainland and from the Indian Ocean. This may just be related to plate movement
and I also feel that there is some sort of energy running through the southern
states from E/SE to west, and from south to north. I have a theory as to what
this may be and have written these
private thoughts in an email to self early in May. It will only be made public
if such eventuates and/or my feelings are confirmed. I would like to run this
feeling/theory by a professional in this area (seismologist for example) P.s. This is not a disaster scenario and no
conspiracy theory here ;).
There are
what I term ‘pulses’ (blocks of) running through some of our southern seismo’s
here and there. This may be normal intermittent activity, as our living planet
is not a static entity. This behaviour can be seen on occasions in other seismo’s
in other world places.
Please remember,
all of what I say in my posts are just feelings, they are not based on
scientific knowledge – I am an amateur and could be very wrong in what I write
in this blog.
Parts
2/3 and 3/3 will be posted here very soon.
Peace
to all.

Earthquakes March 2013 - Part 1
March 2013
Remember – the notes below are just feelings, not exact
predictions of definite events.
On
another site I mentioned my feeling for a region which may suffer considerable
damage to homes/buildings due to an earthquake. This region was close to a
Middle East border with China. 24 hours later such a region (SW China) had an
M5+ which levelled hundreds of homes.
The
landslips, ground drops (including sinkholes), rivers/waterways disappearing –
some rising too, mass fish/sea-life die off, which I had strong feelings for,
all occurred as well. This also included excessive tides and sea inundation.
Florida
(United States) is one region which has regularly ‘stuck’ with me (though I
haven’t always mentioned it) for serious issues with ‘ground-drop’. Sadly, as
we all saw in the news, a man died when he was consumed by a sinkhole which
appeared under his house.
The
people of Florida are well aware of the problems with such and it must be
unnerving not knowing where the ground is next going to give way. My thoughts are with you.
Many
other regions are being disturbed with sinkholes and landslips too. Though it
is an interesting phenomenon, it is also a disturbing one.
A
sharper awareness now surrounds meteorites and asteroids. Many are quietly ‘watching’
the skies for more visiting rocks. Let’s hope we don’t see another shock like
the one in Russia and Cuba recently. Other regions have experienced these
disturbances, by varying degrees too.
March
may also be highlighted with other meteorite disturbances, some by surprise –
with little (some with no) warning. I don’t necessarily mean catastrophic
events, but there may be displays which will continue to capture the
imagination of many and bother some.
More
booms, hums and light flashes (not related to lightning) may be experienced
this month.
Also –
an obscure thought – methods of using salt to reduce ice and snow hazards on
roadways (particularly near bridges) may need to be reviewed. Metal erosion
from this method may be causing damage to structures and salinizing nearby
land. I am not a scientist – so I am no expert on this idea.
Much
of this post is repeated from the February ‘feelings’ post. But I have added
extra locations, and removed some where I feel may not experience tremors.
I am
maintaining many of my feelings for March from the February post as those
feelings are continuing.
I may
modify this post soon. Any changes will be dated/time.
Some
words that came to mind recently as I was thinking about March are – ‘a quiet
time may be ended by a sudden jolt. A moment of tranquillity may be disturbed
suddenly and/or a community, already and quietly on tender-hooks, may experience a renewed or new and bigger issue to deal
with’. This is very generalized I know, but the feeling lurks.
COUNTRIES
AUSTRALIA
Victoria – S/E M2(++?), far
N/E M2(++?)(maybe offshore), NW M2(+?)
Outside ‘chance’ – Dandenong,
Bendigo, Traralgon, between Bunyip State Park and (east to) Mount Baw Baw,
maybe an M2+(+?). A town/suburb with starting with ‘C’ is sticking with me a
little – not sure which one yet. Portland is niggling a bit too (not the people
– the region ;)

Gisborne (up coast), New Plymouth, way north of Whakatane (at sea), Great
Island region (offshore of far NW tip of the Nth. Island), Palmeston North,
south of Wellington (at sea), White Island.
***All of the above regions (on OR
near to them) may feel tremors varying from M2 to M2+(+?). But some may only
feel a mild tremor. Only a couple of the
regions may feel larger tremors.

Vancouver region may feel an M2, and
maybe an M3+(+?) + maybe south of Victoria (perhaps near the waterway) M2(++?)
and the Queen Charlotte Islands.
British Columbia – north/central,
towards border with NWT’s M2+(+?) and south.
The North Western Territory may come
up with an M2+(++?)
Alberta, near Calgary? M2(?) + maybe
northern Saskatchewan + maybe lower Ontario/Quebec.
Near or WSW of Rimouski (waterway) + Gulf of St. Lawrence M3?
I am again being drawn to the North
Western Passages/top of Hudson Bay maybe an M3(+)? And the southern and northern
Yukon for M2+(+?). Winnipeg, Nova Scotia Montreal and New Foundland are
niggling at me a bit.
ALASKA
and the ALEUTIAN ISLANDS (repeat) – the Gulf of Alaska is sticking with me for maybe
an M3(+?).
There may be further tremors
travelling north inland M2’s, ?M3 and maybe an M2+ further north again towards
the top coast. Along the Aleutians maybe M2’s, M3 and maybe an M3+(+?). Towards
the western ‘end’, maybe an M3+(+?).
NORTH

Centro, Santa Rosa, Salton Sea, Yosemite and Kings Canyon NP’s, Los
Angeles/Thousand Oaks, Riverside (east of LA), Red Bluff, Fort Bragg and Grants
Pass. These regions and surrounds may feel M2’s, M3’s and M3+(+?).
Reno (Nevada), Nevada –
central, north and south maybe an M2, odd M3 and maybe an M3+? To the west?
Utah, SW, SE and N, Idaho, NE of Twin Falls, Arizona, N, SW, New Mexico, N, Colorado, S, W, Kansas, S, E, Oklahoma, S, Texas, Fort Worth, NE, E, Montana/Idaho border, Arkansas/Mississippi border, Tennessee, W, E, Louisiana, associated

Jersey/New York, Virginia, E, Maine, S, Dakota, N and
S, Indiana, S
The above US states/regions may only
be M2’s and/or M2+’s, with a couple of M3+(+?)’s. I get a mild feeling that an eastern US
region may come up with an M4+?
CENTRAL
AMERICA (repeat)
The Gulf of California (top end and
near lower end, and west of the ‘peninsula’) may come up with perhaps M3++(?)’s
again.
Mexico – Guadalajara, Mexico City,
west of Manzanillo, south of Oaxaca.
And down the west coast of the rest
of Central America, maybe M3+(+?)’s. Including Panama.
SOUTH
AMERICA (repeat)
Including Easter Island and the
Galapagos Islands, maybe M3+(+?)’s
Venezuela, central/west Colombia,
Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Belize (M2?), Trinidad and Tobago,
Rio Grande do Norte may come up with moderate quakes. There may be a larger
quake on the west coast, maybe along the northern and central west coast.
HAWAII – will continue to experience sporadic M1’s, M2’s and maybe
an M3+?
A volcano may become more greatly
watched and monitored more closely.
Water disturbances (levels) may be an
issue on one or two occasions. This may emanate from the west and NE.
PACIFIC
ISLANDS – Many of the Pacific Islands may continue to
experience sporadic and the odd ‘clusters’ of M3+(+?)’s. The Kermadec Islands are
seemingly constantly rumbling and may continue to do so. There may be a larger
quake here – maybe an M5+
Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, near New
Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, and surrounding islands, may experience the
larger tremors on or near their lands. I get a feeling that there may be some
issue with sea level/disturbance involving one or more of the islands on the
right side of this cluster of islands. I feel that somewhere in the western
side of the Pacific, that an underwater volcano mound may become more evident.
Santa
Cruz Islands may sporadically come up with M4(+?)’s again. A new
cluster of M5’s may occur on a couple of occasions. There may be a sea level disturbance with a
larger quake?
CHINA – far western, NW, central south, SW, NE, SE near Taiwan,
and maybe towards Beijing (general wide area/region) may experience tremors
from M2 to M3+(+?).
The border of China and Vietnam is
sticking with me a little for maybe an M3+(+?).
JAPAN
–
Movements of M3+(?) may continue to
occur for the east of Honshu, Fukushima, Tokyo, Sendai, Morioka and
particularly Hokkaido.
Of the southern end of Japan,
Kagoshima (maybe near the East China Sea) and on/near the west coast, Sea of
Japan, maybe near Kanazawa, may experience an M3(+?).
Mount Fuji may continue to be active
and cause ground movements. This volcano may become problematic for nearby
regions and air traffic. Water/streams/small rivers may be noticeably affected
(current or direction of flow???).
VIETNAM
– I
am being drawn to the border of Vietnam and China, M2+(+?).
?The border region of Cambodia and
Vietnam (towards the south) maybe M2+(+?)

of Thailand is again drawing me to it for some reason.
The mainland of Thailand maybe an
M2+(+?), near the centre, M2+(+?).
PHILIPPINES
– (repeat)
east of Davao, east of Samar Island, south east of Virac/north of Catarman, way
east of Suriago City, regions of Mindanao, east of Mati and on the western side
– off coast in the Sulu Sea and South China Sea, maybe M2+(+?)’s.

–
(repeat) west Papua, the Moluccas, central Salawesi, south of Bali, south of
East Java, south of East Timor (Timor Sea), the Banda Sea, south of Bandung are
sticking with me for maybe movement in the region of M2+(++?).
