Welcome

In creating this blog, I hope to share with other like-minded people my interest in observing and intuiting earth changes, such as earthquakes and other natural activity, before they may occur.
Instead of using the words prophecy, prediction and/or pre-empting, I tend to use the word ‘feeling’ or ‘feelings’ to describe the inklings I get regarding potential earthquakes and other earthly events.
Since I was a small child my intuition and feelings prior to numerous earthly ‘events’ were confirmed as time passed. Now, I am not always correct. I am no great wise one with infinite abilities to foresee events.
I hope to post interesting links, Youtube videos and my own observations/feelings regarding earthquakes, volcanoes and such.
One thing I'd like to add here, is that I am aware that some earthquake and other natural events can adversely affect many people and their communities. So whatever I add to this blog is not for reasons of sensationalism or for satisfaction of confirmation of any 'feelings' I may have about events. I always am considerate and empathetic to/of the impact of such things.
Please feel free to send me links of interest or comment on my own content.
So, those of you who find my blog, I hope you enjoy visiting here.

June 2013 - Part 2 of 3

All the notes I had typed for Part 2 and Part 3 for June have been eaten up in one of my computers, which has decided give up the ghost and go to computer heaven.
So, I’ll do my best to remember what I had put together late in May for the June post.

African continent
The northern coastline of Africa may experience movements, some associated or near to the Mediterranean Sea and islands.
Maybe Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and NW Libya could experience tremors up to M4.
The North Atlantic, near the coast of Africa and offshore (maybe central Atlantic) may produce moderate EQ’s which, if close enough to the coast, could produce some water disturbances.
Near Liberia, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, the Gulf of Guinea and maybe west of Namibia may experience moderate to lesser tremors.
SW  or south of Cape Town (offshore) may experience an M3+(?).
Eastern DR Congo and Tanzania may experience an M3 (or +?).
The northern Somalia and Eritrea regions may experience an M3(+?).

Mediterranean
Greece may continue to experience rumbles from M1+ to M3. There maybe an M3+(+?) near Naples, Athens, Crete, Cyprus, southern Greece, Italy.

Western Europe
Romania, Austria, Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina, Macedonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Belarus, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, England, Ireland, Scotland and Belarus may all feel tremors from M1 to M2.
M3’s may occur in Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, France, England/Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Norway and offshore/coast for those countries near the Atlantic.
Iceland, Svalbard and further north again, may experience M2+ to a potential M4+.

Words…
Words which are sticking with me (and make of them what you will) are Atlantis (Atlantic), Isle, Dun-?, canal and ?-ham, Saint or Santa. (this applies globally, not just in Europe)
Fort, ravine, pass, forest, riviere, inlet and ‘golden’, ‘silver’, ‘sterling’ (some word relating to a metal name) are some others which have crossed my mind recently/currently.

There may be landslips from torrential rains and volcanic or EQ tremors; some land deformation from building volcanic pressures or even land deformation from earth movement in some places.
A new sinkhole scenario may bring this unnerving topic back into the news globally.
A new sea/water life beaching or poisoning may also become new news.
Some more booms, hums and harmonic sounds may be observed, maybe even one which can be experienced almost wordwide (this could just be reverberations from a large EQ in a region) or it may be geo-electric/magnetic in origin (or even emanating from some solar activity).

All of the above are just feelings and not predictions. I may or will be inaccurate with such, some or all.

My thoughts are with friends and those we don’t know in the US regions, who are experiencing deadly tornadoes currently.

More on the other country’s region soon, as I get time to redo these notes.

Peace and safety to all.

June 2013 - Part 1 of 3

"Beacon" by Prozac1

My general feeling for June is that water/sea may be a feature of one or more events on the earthquake and possibly the volcanic front.

Regarding EQ’s, I get a feeling that there may be an EQ event which could spark a water level disturbance ( what may be termed as a tsunami – from potential mild land inundation to maybe a more serious issue – not sure about the degree though).  The regions which, at the moment of typing this post, I am somewhat drawn to are the Atlantic region – maybe more towards the northern reaches to the mid-Atlantic regions. Another maybe the northern reaches of the Pacific Ocean to the NE regions and/or the NW regions. Hawaii may experience some water level disturbances and some stronger currents sweeping around the islands. This may not be major.

Australia may experience high tides in some places and possibly a mild impact from sea level rise disturbance from an offshore (sea or other country’s) plate shift occurrence. This may sweep down a considerable stretch of Australian coastline. This may only be a situation which causes beach erosion or a king tide kind of situation. Again, as with Hawaii, water currents may be stronger than usual.
Similarly, there may be a disturbance emanating from the Indian Ocean and/or possibly from the south of the Australian mainland, above Antarctica.

More meteorites may be observed, with possibly some sort of an earth impact by one or two – not meaning disaster, but more of a spectacle or even a sonic boom produced by one or two.

Regarding volcanoes, several may become an issue for their local communities, maybe disturbing air traffic. Lava flows, pyroclastic and rock flows may be an issue for one or two. The tremors emanating from one or two may cause infrastructure problems – maybe some tunnels, roads etc..
An undersea volcano or two may become more active and may cause pumice to rise to the sea surface, indicating such movements.
A volcano, slightly offshore from a mainland may be red-zoned, with tourism ceased for this region. An inland volcano, maybe in the Mediterranean and/or Asia may become a problem for communities nearby, also ceasing tourism temporarily and displacing some.

UNITED STATES
The California coastline may continue to experience M1, M2 and M3+’s. I have been ‘watching’ this region and commenting on such on Weatherzone. I mentioned the LA down to San Diego regions may come up with a moderate quake (M5’ish) and unfortunately it did. This region, down to Baja and back up to near the Oregon border may experience another moderate tremor in June. It seems that the plates in these regions are moving/grinding in a moderately active way. Which is not uncommon for them to do, but I feel a grind and ‘pull’ maybe occurring currently, which could give rise to the further movements I am talking about here.

The region from Nevada, including the Yellowstone and other national park regions may continue (again not unusual) to experience M1’s, M2’s and maybe an M3+. Yellowstone is drawing me to it a little and/or the western side of it for maybe an M3+(?).
Inland US – the states which currently draw me to them for potential M1’s, M2’s and/or M3 maybe S/W Arizona, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Nevada (including near Las Vegas), Tennessee, Washington, Texas, Western Montana, Idaho, Missouri and Pennsylvania. Rhode Island included.

For some reason I am also stuck on the word “Fort”. This is resonating with me for a mild tremor, as is the word “Atlanta” (“Atlantas” is the actual word which is stuck with me atm).
Louisiana and up the Mississippi River is drawing me to it for some reason – maybe a river related issue.
New York (state)/Vermont/Maine regions are also drawing me to them – maybe just a mild tremor.
Weather emanating from the Atlantic may become an issue for the eastern states coastlines.

AUSTRALIA
Koorda in Western Australia has been enduring an earthquake cluster recently, mainly M1’s, M2’s and an M3 till now. This may be a prelude to a larger tremor or the smaller tremors may have been ‘for’ and ‘after’ shocks from the M3.
Western Australia, Northern Territory, Tasmania, Canberra, New South Wales and South Australia may all come up with more small tremors. SA, WA and possibly Victoria may come up with a moderate tremor (M3+?).
Queensland has experienced a tremor recently, near Brisbane, and I feel that they may feel another in June.

I am still feeling an energy emanating from the ocean, south of the Australian mainland and from the Indian Ocean. This may just be related to plate movement and I also feel that there is some sort of energy running through the southern states from E/SE to west, and from south to north. I have a theory as to what this may be and have written these private thoughts in an email to self early in May. It will only be made public if such eventuates and/or my feelings are confirmed. I would like to run this feeling/theory by a professional in this area (seismologist for example)  P.s. This is not a disaster scenario and no conspiracy theory here ;).
There are what I term ‘pulses’ (blocks of) running through some of our southern seismo’s here and there. This may be normal intermittent activity, as our living planet is not a static entity. This behaviour can be seen on occasions in other seismo’s in other world places.

Please remember, all of what I say in my posts are just feelings, they are not based on scientific knowledge – I am an amateur and could be very wrong in what I write in this blog.

Parts 2/3 and 3/3 will be posted here very soon.

Peace to all.

April - Part 3 of 3

Hi folks.

I have been very distracted this month and have not completed my usual full 'lists' for this blog for April.
But, I have been posting here and there on the Earthquakes thread - General Science - Weatherzone
There you will see I have been mentioning some of my feelings, predominantly for the Pacific Ocean regions - Ring of Fire.
I have pre-empted (for want of a better word) or had strong feelings prior to the big quakes in the Pacific region which have been occurring.

Anyway, if I get a good chance to, I may add some more to this blog soon for April. But in the meantime, I will be posting short notes, feelings and comments on the General Science - Earthquakes thread on WZ. (look for 'Duckweather' - posts)

Peace to all

April 2013 - Part 2 of 3

April 2013 - part 2 of 3

If there is going to be a larger magnitude quake I get a mild feeling that the regions which may be affected may be towards the Indonesian/Guinea, Japan, Kamchatka, Alaksan Gulf, between Jamica and the British Virgin Islands, along the coast of Central America and Iceland. The Queen Charlotte Island (general region) is also drawing me to it a little.

Now, remember these are not predictions of a global disaster, nor may these areas actually experience larger quakes (at all) or in the month of April.
April 11th, 12th and 13th are numbers/dates which are sticking a little with me at the moment for a larger movement of some kind. Where, I am not sure, but the northern part of the hemisphere is nagging at me more so than the southern.

Let’s hope my feelings are proven wrong (and probably will be). I certainly don’t want communities in these regions to take my feelings as fact and worry.  More than likely these regions will only feel rattles from lesser magnitude quakes/tremors.

The continual beachings and die-offs of sea/water life is very sad to see. The reasons for many of these happenings will be clearer and exposed (hopefully completely) this month. There will be a combination factor of reasons here between natural earthly (quakes, volcanic, water changes – temperature and conditions, electro-magnetic pulse variations etc.) effects and man-made issues.(I won’t go into the politics of that one – don’t do politics ;) friends.

I feel that the coastal regions and tracking inland of California, maybe towards the northern states of the United States (meaning Washington State down) will continue to be rattled by M1's, M2's and M3's. Wyoming and surrounds may experience more of the tremors associated with the Yellowstone National Park, perhaps with an M3(+?) either west of Yellowstone or SW or South of this region. I feel a little that the 'energy' is building there, but please don't think of the movie "2012" when I mention this - I'm not meaning Yellowstone will experience epic movements, just perhaps an increase in the number of tremors and maybe the odd M3(+?).

I also feel that there may be more visual atmospheric/cloud colouring [rainbows - horizontal and vertical] changes/patterns to be observed. To be clearer, what may happen below (earth) may be reflected in some places in the elements of the sky. This may include volcanic ash and some tremendous sunsets in some places. Also more auroras may be seen closer to places which may not usually witness them.

More soon folks ;)

April 2013

APRIL 2013

This post is incomplete and was written 2 days ago. We have had a family tragedy, so I will add the rest of this post sometime this week.

Well folks, April of 2013 has begun with some interesting and substantial earthquake movements, particularly along the Ring of Fire.
Particularly notable is the earthquake (M7+) near the border of North Korea/Russia/China. As I felt it would, the movements travelled down the western ‘edge’ of the ROF, through Japan, Taiwan and down to the north of New Zealand.
This was considerable movement.

The M7+ earthquake in Indonesia was situated in a mountain range in Papua, Indonesia, just north of a valley, which runs east/west or west /east, which if one was to draw a lined arrow to the east, the arrow may intersect (approximately) with the volcanoes in the east. There may, of course, be no relationship between Indonesia’s currently active volcanoes and this latest M7+ - this EQ may have been plate related.
Another curious thing about this M7+, is that (as I had noted on another site) the night (Melbourne time) prior to this large quake, I had woken suddenly from my sleep after ‘dreaming’ that there was going to be a potential M7 to M9 north of the Australian mainland within the next 24 hours – I was a little numbed when it did occur. I had told my daughter that morning, prior to the quake, about my dream.

Anyway, for this post, I am going to change the layout of the listing. I am going to head the list with regions I feel may experience M4+ and maybe greater quakes. Then below that, a list of regions which may experience M2 to maybe M3+ quakes. Then below that list, a group of regions which may experience tremors in the lower M ranges.

I get a feeling that April may be a particularly active month for earthquakes. Also, I feel there may be issues with water/sea disturbances associated with several EQ’s.

The sinkhole issues may increase and some regions experiences tremendous problems with them, may see a greater need to move communities permanently to another region.

I feel there may be a major eruption with a volcano, displacing some communities.
Maybe an undersea volcano will become quite a spectacle, and several more (that are forming or brewing) may be noted for naming or inclusion on world maps.

The influence of the solar output and other potential earth influences beyond our planet, on our earthly happenings, are not generally my ‘area’ of focus or study (I have little ‘knowledge in this genre).

Please remember that any M’s I mention below are just feelings and not actual predictions of potential earthquakes or tremors.

M4 or M4+
Pacific Ring of Fire regions

Guam, Mariana’s, Palau, Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu, Marshall Islands Federated States of Micronesia, Solomon’s,  Wallis and Fortuna, Kiribati, Easter Island, Galapagos Islands, PNG, West Papua (Indonesia), Japan, Alaska (including along the Aleutian Islands), Canada (in Queen Charlotte Islands region), Taiwan, Central America (Gulf of California, Manzanillo, Oaxaca and  about 3 equally [approx.] spaced places on down the coast to Panama), North America (California regions, San Francisco/Santa Rosa coast and west of Roseburg, west of Eureka and  Washington State). Kamchatka (Russia), Philippines [NE? and SE?], the Moluccas’, Bismarck Sea, Kermadec Islands (NZ), New Zealand Sth. Island (east), New Zealand North Island (NE and NW).

I will add to this post, the rest of my list, when I get a chance this week.
