At the time of typing this
post, the Fiji
region has experienced an M4+. Given that the north east of New Zealand had
a sizable quake 13 or so hours ago, I feel that one could suspect that the
islands north of NZ may also feel some movement of the plates (ROF) too. It is
quite possible that Samoa, PNG, Solomons, Tonga,
Kermadec and maybe even the Mariana Islands and/or Guam
may experience an M3+.
The South
Shetland Islands experienced an M4.9 overnight. This is on a
northern tip of a region of Antarctica. I
didn’t suspect this one yesterday.
My feelings had been
tracking towards India
yesterday, and the North Indian Ocean and the Nicobar
Islands have experienced M4+’s. I have a small feeling that the
east of India
may see an M3+???.
I still feel that a couple
of the ridges, I mentioned earlier, could see some movement of an M4+ nature.
Maybe the north of the Arabian
Sea or Pakistan
(south) could feel an M3+.
Kyrgystan/Kazakhstan may
experience an M3+.
As I was just adding this other part of my 'diary' entry regarding Japan and surrounding islands possibly going to experience an M4+, I had the feeds running simutaneously to this blog and an M4+ has come up on the feeds regarding Japan.
