February 2013
Remember – the notes below are just feelings, not exact
predictions of definite events.
This is an
extensive list and will cover the whole of February and the last couple of days
of January. I will add to this list if I get any other feelings for other
locations BEFORE tremors occur.
I am not sure
what effect the passing of the asteroid, on February 15th, will have
on any tremors, as this is beyond my understanding/knowledge.
This list will be added to, with other regions, a.s.a.p..
COUNTRIES
AUSTRALIA
Victoria – S/E M2(++?), far
N/E M2(++?)
- mild feeling region starting with ‘B’ (Ballarat?,
Bendigo?, Bairnsdale? Beechworth?)
M2+?
- S/E of
Lakes Entrance, in the Tasman Sea M2+(+?)
Tasmania – N/E and maybe
N/W coast + west of King Island M2(++?) + far west of Tassie (below the Great
Australian Bight/below SA & WA border) M3+(+?) + maybe the SW of the coast
of Tassie.
New South Wales/Canberra
–
mild feeling for near Newcastle region M2(+?) + Canberra region M2(+?) + maybe
north of Broken Hill M2 (+?)
South Australia
-
?Lake Gardner National Park region (NW of Port Augusta) M2(+?) + maybe between
Victor Harbor and Elizabeth (Adelaide is in the middle) M2(+?) + maybe north of
the Nullarbor M2(+?) + maybe NW of the Witjira National Park (border with NT)
M2(+?)
Queensland – maybe between
Dalby and Brisbane M2(+?) + maybe (very mild feeling) east or NE of Mackay (sea/coast),
this maybe east of Cairns? M2(+?)
Northern
Territory – SW of Alice Springs M2(+?) + border with SA (central) M2(+?) + near
Tarrabool Lake (ENE of central NT) M2(?) + maybe NW or N of Darwin
M2(+?)(possibly off coast)
Western
Australia – maybe SW or west of Margaret River (coast or off coast) M2(+?) + maybe
west of Perth (coast or off coast) M2(+?) + (inland) east, NE and SE of Perth
M2(?) + Lake Nabberu region (west of the Gibson Desert Nature Reserve) M2(?) +
also maybe west of Carnarvon and Exmouth (offshore – Indian Ocean)
MACQUARIE ISLAND
maybe an M3+(?)
ANTARCTICA – see the
co-ordinates I have noted at the end of this post.
NEW ZEALAND
North Island – Whangarei,
Auckland, Tampo, Tauranga (east of), Rotorua, north of Gisborne (up coast), New
Plymouth, way north of Whakatane (at sea), Great Island region (offshore of far
NW tip of the Nth. Island), Palmeston North, south of Wellington (at sea),
White Island.
***All of the above regions (on OR near to them) may
feel tremors varying from M2 to M2+(+?). But some may only feel a mild
tremor. Only a couple of the regions may
feel larger tremors.
South Island – west of
Auckland Island M3(?) This island is south of the Sth. Island.
Christchurch may feel a few rumbles, maybe from M2
to maybe an M3(+?)
South west of the SW point of the South Island
(offshore) may feel an M2+(+?)
CANADA –
Vancouver region may feel an M2, and maybe an M3+(+?) + maybe south of Victoria
(perhaps near the waterway) M2(++?)
British Columbia – north/central, towards border with
NWT’s M2+(+?)
Alberta, near Calgary? M2(?) + maybe northern Saskatchewan
+ maybe lower Ontario/Quebec.
Near or WSW of Rimouski (waterway) + Gulf of St. Lawrence M3?
I am being drawn to the North Western Passages/top of
Hudson Bay maybe an M3(+)?
ALASKA and the
ALEUTIAN ISLANDS – the Gulf of Alaska is sticking with me for maybe an
M3(+?).
There may be further tremors travelling north inland
M2’s, ?M3 and maybe an M2+ further north again towards the top coast. Along the
Aleutians maybe M2’s, M3 and maybe an M3+(+?). Towards the western ‘end’, maybe
an M3+(+?).
NORTH AMERICA –
Washington – near Seattle and the NW coast, maybe M2+
and/or M3(+?)
Oregon – west of Portland, near Bend, near Klamath
Falls, west of Roseburg (off shore), near border with Idaho.
California – west of
Eureka, San Francisco, near Redding, Salinas/Santa Cruz, near Fresno,
Ridgecrest, Bakersfield, Yucca Valley, El
Centro, Santa Rosa, Salton Sea, Yosemite and Kings Canyon NP’s,
Los Angeles/Thousand Oaks,
Riverside (east of LA), Red Bluff, Fort Bragg and Grants Pass. These regions
and surrounds may feel M2’s, M3’s and M3+(+?) perhaps in the regions
highlighted in green. The regions with ‘Santa’ and/or ‘San’ in their
names are sticking with me a little as maybe ‘problem’ areas.
Nevada seems (in my non-scientific and unresearched
opinion/feeling) to rumbling quite consistently with smaller tremors. My
feeling is tending towards this area being one in which ‘energy’ is passing
through – if that makes sense. Maybe it is on the eastern edge of where, if a
larger quake was to occur, it could be on the western, NW and/or SW of this
state. Though, people from Nevada may
know more about the reason for their tremors than me.
I also feel that ‘energies’ (tremors) may pop up in
more of the states heading east in February, maybe even sweeping up along the
east coast to Maine. A couple of tremors may pop up as ‘surprise’ movements in
a couple of the states more central to North America. As I have been gradually piecing
this post together, a couple of the eastern states have experienced tremors.
Reno (Nevada), Nevada
– central, north and south maybe an M2, odd M3 and maybe an M3+? To the west?
Utah, SW,
SE and N, Idaho, NE of
Twin Falls, Arizona, N, SW,
New Mexico, N, Colorado, S, W, Kansas, S, E,
Oklahoma, S, Texas, Fort Worth, NE, E, Montana/Idaho
border, Arkansas/Mississippi
border, Tennessee, W, E,
Louisiana, associated
with Bayou Corne sinkhole, Missouri, S, Pennsylvania, E, New Jersey/New
York, Virginia, E, Maine, S
The above US states/regions may only be M2’s and/or
M2+’s, with a couple of M3+(+?)’s. I get
a mild feeling that an eastern US region may come up with an M4+?
CENTRAL AMERICA
The Gulf of California (top end and near lower end,
and west of the ‘peninsula’) may come up with perhaps M3++(?)’s again.
Mexico – Guadalajara, Mexico City, west of Manzanillo,
south of Oaxaca.
And down the west coast of the rest of Central
America, maybe M3+(+?)’s. Including Panama.
SOUTH AMERICA
Including Easter Island and the Galapagos Islands,
maybe M3+(+?)’s
Venezuela, central/west Colombia, Ecuador, Peru,
Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Belize (M2?), Trinidad and Tobago, Rio Grande do
Norte may come up with moderate quakes. There may be a larger quake on the west
coast, maybe along the northern and central west coast.
HAWAII – will continue
to experience sporadic M1’s, M2’s and maybe an M3+?
Water disturbances (levels) may be an issue on one or
two occasions. This may emanate from the west and NE.
PACIFIC ISLANDS
– Many of the Pacific Islands may continue to
experience sporadic and the odd ‘clusters’ of M3+(+?)’s. The Kermadec Islands
are seemingly constantly rumbling and may continue to do so (according to a
seismograph in this region).
Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, near New Caledonia,
Wallis and Futuna, and surrounding islands, may experience the larger tremors
on or near their lands. I get a feeling that there may be some issue with sea
level/disturbance involving one or more of the islands closer to the centre of
the Pacific. I feel that somewhere in the western side of the Pacific, that an
underwater volcano mound may become more evident. This may also include and
island (not inhabited) in the southern regions of the Pacific may become ‘active’
or show ‘movements’ of becoming volcanic/life soon. The White Island volcano may experienced increasingly heightened activity.
CHINA – far western,
NW, central south, SW, NE, SE near Taiwan, and maybe towards Beijing (general
wide area/region) may experience tremors from M2 to M3+(+?).
The border of China and Vietnam is sticking with me a
little for maybe an M3+(+?).
JAPAN –
Movements of M3+(?) may continue to occur for the east of Honshu, Fukushima,
Tokyo, Sendai, Morioka and particularly Hokkaido.
Of the southern end of Japan, Kagoshima (maybe near
the East China Sea) and on/near the west coast, Sea of Japan, maybe near
Kanazawa, may experience an M3(+?).
Mount Fuji may continue to be active and cause ground
movements. This volcano may become problematic for nearby regions and air
traffic. Water/streams/small rivers may be noticeably affected (current or
direction of flow???).
VIETNAM – I am
being drawn to the border of Vietnam and China, M2+(+?).
?The border region of Cambodia and Vietnam (towards
the south) maybe M2+(+?)
LAOS – near the
border with northern Vietnam is sticking with me a little, M2+(+?).
KOREA – north
east of South Korea (Sea of Japan, coast or near coast), maybe M2+(+?)
THAILAND – This may
mean nothing at all, i.e. no event, but the Gulf of Thailand is drawing me to
it for some reason.
The mainland of Thailand maybe an M2+(+?), near the
centre, M2+(+?).
PHILIPPINES – east of
Davao, east of Samar Island, south east of Virac/north of Catarman, way east of
Suriago City, regions of Mindanao, east of Mati and on the western side – off coast
in the Sulu Sea and South China Sea, maybe M2+(+?)’s.
Palau (island in the Pacific, east of Philippines)
maybe an M2+(+?)
INDONESIA – west Papua,
the Moluccas, central Salawesi, south of Bali, south of East Java, south of
East Timor (Timor Sea), the Banda Sea, south of Bandung are sticking with me
for maybe movement in the region of M2+(++?).
Sumatra, from the west coast and traveling east along the coast, may experience another couple of M4(+?)'s again, off coast.
Sumatra, from the west coast and traveling east along the coast, may experience another couple of M4(+?)'s again, off coast.
Below are the co-ordinates of some of the locations I may not
adequately describe with ‘name’ location. These are meant to be approximate
locations of areas I get some ‘feeling’ for.
