September 11th 2012 – next 72 hours – from 6pm, Melbourne, Australia time.
There has and will be some serious plate movement around the Sumatran/Indonesian/Philippine regions. The pressure currently is particularly obviously having an affect on the magnitudes and appearance of earth/seaquakes in the plate regions from the Andaman Sea, Sumatra, all the way east through to east Timor. The potential of M4+’s may continue.
I am going to maintain my feelings regarding the ‘line’ from the Sulu to the Timor Seas (including Banda, Molucca and Celebes Seas areas) as being potentials for M3+’s and M4+’s. This incorporates the lands on the east of these seas particularly.
The larger quakes, such as the ones in China and Costa Rica have adversely affected their respective communities. Previous, recent quakes in other countries/communities, for example Italy and Greece, have also been sadly impacted by some of these events.
I haven’t finished adding some locations here. Will note them as I get time.
North, Central and Southern California regions will continue to rumble with M1’s, M2’s and sporadic M3+’s.
Nevada has been experiencing fairly consistent M1’s and the odd M2’s. Prior to pasting this post and before Nevada felt it’s M3, I was feeling that this M3 (+?) may occur.
