Earthquake Intuition and Observation

 

 Recently, I had a conversation with someone who was somewhat curious about premonitions, predictions or anticipation of earthquake [or other] future events. The other person was not sure if they believed in such and that much of 'predictive ability' or belief in such an idea was just due to a lucky guess or a mismatch of an event occurrence with a feeling of something totally unrelated.

 Some simultaneous 'gut feelings' [or premonitions] and actual events, whether they be earthquakes or other life impacting events, can be pure coincidence. But there are other moments in time when the correlation of a 'premonition' and the happening of an event cannot be explained or dismissed easily or even ridiculed as quackery.

 Many folks who feel they have 'predicted' a future event, keep such thoughts to themselves or may keep a private personal diary or notation of another sort, for fear that if they expose or proclaim their ideas [premonitions, theories etc.] they may be seen as a weirdo, a dreamer or an attention seeker, for example.

 But what leads a person to feel they are experiencing a premonition or an anticipation of a future event? That event maybe an earthquake, tsunami, or other natural event; or a manmade or human related event?  

 I will hypothesise that such a feeling or anticipation of a future event can be based on several things.

  Some of these things may be related; observed as separate and individual things or one which affects the other. Without being too specific, I am referring to things such as natural energies emitted in nature. Things such as a build up of visually obvious happenings which can culminate in a more major/main event. Things which, as individual happenings can cause a chain reaction or effect of events, which as a whole are the main event. Or an event which comes 'out-of-the-blue', with no prior warning in a general sense.

 So, the general gist of my thoughts here are that energies [obvious visual or non visual] are all around us. They are within us, in relation to our own natural electrical internal bodily activity, which interacts with ingested, or inflicted, or complementary or nearby sources of competing or conflicting elements. 

 As an obscure example - when a perhaps relaxed and self aware person [an empath for example] encounters a very upset, angry or injured other person, their energy shifts from being somewhat personally harmonious within to akin to a circuit board which may be destabilized by a mismatched energy current. 

 Another example, is when you see children [or other person] or yourself experience a sense of complete harmony with another person and an instant rapport, an effortless interaction with no words needed for them to be comfortable with each other. This in my mind is a mutual positive energy [physical] and what looks like a kinship of 'knowingness' between the two souls.

 Other individuals who may be guided by 'energies' surrounding and within them, and elements of perceptive experiences, are persons who feel they have psychic abilities. There are many words or titles used to describe persons who feel they can predict a future event or find the lost elements of a past event. I am meaning the non-demeaning titles here. And, yes, there are folks in the world who will disbelieve those folks who claim to have pre-event perspective/premonition, and that is ok too. We are all entitled to form our own opinions, whilst respecting the perspectives of others. 

 So, what is my hypothesis about the above [albeit brief and limited examples of energy]?

 Well, energy [physical] is emitted by all things in varying degrees. Energy sources come from beneath us [earth, lands and sea], around us, within us [our own electrical circuits and biological composition] and above us [atmospheric, space etc.] and so on.

 Such energies can conflict or complement each other, in unison or as a chain reaction of affectation. Energies can dissipate slowly or as quickly as they may arise. Combined energies can cancel each other out or invigorate each other.

 In relation to any past earthquake [and other natural events] I have referred to or anticipated, I have watched out for patterns of energy distribution, possible energy sources and potential energy expulsion in one or more locations. I may sometimes say that the referring energy from these events may go on,  to maintain a momentum of affect which can cause a different element to respond to that energy shift. For example. The major and tragic earthquake and tsunami event of 2011 was an example of one element of an event affecting another earth element to create an invigorated energy expulsion event. The resulting tsunami was caused by the physical action and energy of the major sea quake east of Japan. 

 Even in this current age of built up cities, traffic and people numbers, the energies surrounding earth events [such as earthquakes] can still be observable enough to reach beyond the din of modern life if we accidentally or purposefully tune in to such. Take note of nature [animals, earth beneath you, air etc.] and its behaviours. Once in tune with these things [even only mildly], when the energy shifts in some way, you may be able to anticipate the potential of an event of some magnitude - even sensing the smaller ones. Look up too, the clouds can give the odd hint of energies being released from the earth. 

 Some people feel that those folks who may have anticipated a confirmed future event just got lucky with their guess. Or without proclaiming an exact time, date and place, of an anticipation of an earthquake, for example, such an observation is dismissed without regard or even ridiculed. A dear friend [U.S. geologist - now passed - bless his soul], anticipated the 1989 Loma Prieta devastating earthquake following his observations of animal behaviours [amongst other things], but was ridiculed by some for his observations and warnings of this anticipated event. Others believed him though. Some people have laughed at me for suggesting there may be a tremor/quake coming in a particular area at a point in time - and when the event has happened - some have started to feel there may be some substance to various observations or intuitions regarding such.......

There are so many interesting, intriguing and different [natural] energy sources and interactions in the natural world. They never cease to amaze my nerdy mind.

Repeat of last post;  

‘Water’ was featuring in my ‘feelings’ (intuition) in the last 2 weeks particularly. And I feel that during the next several weeks, ‘water’ may feature in many movements. This could mean plates, ridges, trenches etc., and underwater volcanic behaviour.  This may also mean water level disturbances (I don’t mean of a significant nature at this stage).

We may see more ‘unusual’ occurrences relating to water. For example, there may be possible discoloration, temperature and perhaps sea-life behaviour in some places. There may be even some species migration to waters not normally in their usual migratory ‘plan’.

I ‘feel’ there may be a river/waterway which may temporarily have its flow direction reverse. Also a collection of water (small lake?) may disappear and another increase or appear in another region. 

Generally speaking, I feel that a possible increased feature for December activity could be some smoke plumes, peat fires, water disturbances (as above), volcanic ash, still get a feeling that we are getting much closer to a major volcanic eruption/s. The areas I am particularly drawn to are between Japan and Kamchatka (far east Russia), and maybe Indonesia. But there are some other places which are niggling at me too."
 New Zealand is another region where volcanic activity is increasing; there are some other regions which could be more active too - maybe on the African continent, South America and maybe in the Guatemalan region. Possibility of new or increased number of steam vents, ‘gas’ issues with lakes (e.g. ongoing sinkhole issues and volcanic lakes), plate irritations, fault line awakenings/jitters and some severe weather/atmospheric activity. This is not meant to be of ‘disaster movie’ proportions, just Mother Earth acting up a little.  This may not occur in this posts time period, but some may be a feature or be more obvious during December, into January 2013.   

Remember; everything mentioned in this post are just ‘feelings’ not predictions of future events. Some will come up; some may and some won’t.

This line I refer to above, incorporating the activities surrounding, sinkhole appearances (current), ‘booms’/explosions being heard and other reports from communities, makes it a little harder to pinpoint some areas for M’s, as the feeling I’m getting is for a general ‘sweep’ (M’s occurring in various places – sporadically) for the U.S..

Wake Island may experience continuous very mild movements and maybe an M1++?

The Solomon’s may experience quite regular minor movements of under M1 and M1. But also may be prone to M2++(+?)

Including the North down to the Southern Pacific Islands (e.g. Midway Atoll, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Cook, Pitcairn, Mariana, Easter and surrounds) may feel continuous faint movements.  The odd one may feel an M2 and/or M2+?

Galapagos Islands and near Cocos Is. Maybe an M3+(+?)

Indonesia

From the Sulu, Celebes, Molucca and Banda Seas regions, at sea and on land in some parts may continue to feel the odd M3+(+?). The lands/waters between the Banda and Timor Seas may see a movement of M3+(?)

Again, the sweep of lands from Sumatra, through to below Java and Denpasar are still drawing me to it for further movement of potential M3+(+?) movement. This could be in relation to both plate boundary and volcanic activity.

Malaysia

Maybe west of, in the Andaman Sea an m3+(+?)

Philippines

East and west of the Philippine lands may have the potential for movements of M3 and/or M3+(+?).

Maybe even out east to the Palau Islands there could be some movement of M3+(+?)

The Davao region may experience moderately regular faint movements of under M1 and the potential of larger movements east of Davao.

The Sulu Sea maybe an m3(+?)

Maybe east of Luzon M3(+?)

Taiwan

May again show some movement of an M3+(+?) nature. Again towards Naha an M3+(+?)

Maybe east in the Sea of Japan a movement of M3+(+?) nature.

For the rest of December 2012

Briefly, I have recently had ‘feelings’ for the seas surrounding the Mediterranean (as was mentioned in my posts). I was getting drawn to waterways such as these seas and the waterways near the UK, such as the English Channel and coastlines. My feelings were pretty spot on, noting that these waterways had (and are still) experiencing movements, some being quite substantial.

The waterway regarding the US states of Wisconsin and Michigan, which I felt may experience a disturbance of some nature, have apparently been experiencing gaseous releases in various places. (I will confirm this with further reading their local press).

We may see some regions inland, on some continents, experience tremors where we may least expect them. This may cause some scientists (geologists?) to reassess where some new fault lines may be or unknown existing ones may express themselves in varying degrees.

There maybe some tremendously coloured sunsets in some regions. This could be due to volcanic activity and/or land/forest fires.

There may be steam plumes arising in some regions, which maybe previously not considered a potential for such. (I’m not talking of ‘disaster movie’ scenario).
I get a feeling that we are getting much closer to a major volcanic eruption/s. The areas I am particularly drawn to are between Japan and Kamchatka (far east Russia), and maybe Indonesia. But there are some other places which are niggling at me too. These I will ponder on as to whether I mention them. I am always wary of stating my feelings regarding any 'potential' substantial events (such as the regions I have mentioned here) as if I am wrong (and may be), I would not have wanted to unnecessarily worried these communities (for those who may take my posts seriously).   

There may be a region which may need to call on the assistance of the world-wide community to assist their peoples to restore peace and the well-being of their people, homes and sustenance.  Water, again, may be a concern.

This is probably the strangest post I have written so far. And…please remember these are not claims of foretold events. I am not a psychic, scientist or see-er. I may be very wrong with my ‘feelings’ and I hope I am.

North M1’s to M3’s. Maybe an M3+(?)

The Gulf of St. Lawrence is still sticking with me for an M?? as is the North Western Passages??.

Was going to say that the Queen Charlotte region may feel more movements of an M3+(+?) nature, and have noted that this has occurred.
Also I feel that the regions near Vancouver, land and offshore may feel M2++?'s
Towards the Gulf of Alaska may come up with an M2++?
British Columbia may feel M1's, 2's

Pacific islands

Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, PNG and most of the other Pacific Islands may still be prone to M3+(+?)’s. I feel we may see an M4+(+?)

 

Tahiti/Pitcairn/Easter Islands

Mild feelings of an M3+(?) near Easter island particularly

Indonesia

From the Sulu, Celebes, Molucca and Banda Seas regions, at sea and on land in some parts may continue to feel the odd M3+(+?). The lands/waters between the Banda and Timor Seas may see a movement of M3+(?)

Again, the sweep of lands from Sumatra, through to below Java and Denpasar are still drawing me to it for further movement of potential M3+(+?) movement. This could be in relation to both plate boundary and volcanic activity.

Malaysia

Maybe west of, in the Andaman Sea an m3+(+?)

Philippines

East and west of the Philippine lands may have the potential for movements of M3 and/or M3+(+?).

Maybe even out east to the Palau Islands there could be some movement of M3+(+?)

Taiwan

May again show some movement of an M3+(+?) nature. Again towards Naha an M3+(+?)

Korea N/S

Maybe east in the Sea of Japan a movement of M3+(+?) nature.

Japan and Islands

Kuril Islands may see M3+(+?)’s

East of Honshu, Tokyo, Morioka and Sendai may feel M3+(+?)’s.

Way east of Sapporo (plate boundary) may see an M3+(+?)

Mount Fuji may experience some raised activity and the surrounding lakes/waterways may experience changes (but I must remind all that this is a mild feeling only re: the lakes/rivers)

Vietnam

Mild feeling for the border with Laos – M?

Vietnam/Laos border has been experiencing considerable tremors, according to this news report . Their tremors are not showing up on the Global Incident Map – Quakes. Without having prior knowledge of their tremor situation, my feelings were being heavily drawn to this region.

Mongolia

Maybe western Mongolia?? M3+(+?)

Russia

Central south – maybe S/E of Novosibirsk M3+(+?)

Maybe north of Georgia M3+(+?)

Maybe north in the Laptev Sea M3+(+?)

Well how's this...when constructing my notes for Russia, the Bering Sea stood out to me as being a region for an M3+(+?) and I didn't note it in this blog and this sea has just come up with a quake. Believe it or not ;)

Hawaii

Will more than likely continue to feel M1’s, 2’S and the odd M3. I get a mild feeling about the surrounding waters possibly being mildly problematic on the eastern side of the islands.
