Welcome

In creating this blog, I hope to share with other like-minded people my interest in observing and intuiting earth changes, such as earthquakes and other natural activity, before they may occur.
Instead of using the words prophecy, prediction and/or pre-empting, I tend to use the word ‘feeling’ or ‘feelings’ to describe the inklings I get regarding potential earthquakes and other earthly events.
Since I was a small child my intuition and feelings prior to numerous earthly ‘events’ were confirmed as time passed. Now, I am not always correct. I am no great wise one with infinite abilities to foresee events.
I hope to post interesting links, Youtube videos and my own observations/feelings regarding earthquakes, volcanoes and such.
One thing I'd like to add here, is that I am aware that some earthquake and other natural events can adversely affect many people and their communities. So whatever I add to this blog is not for reasons of sensationalism or for satisfaction of confirmation of any 'feelings' I may have about events. I always am considerate and empathetic to/of the impact of such things.
Please feel free to send me links of interest or comment on my own content.
So, those of you who find my blog, I hope you enjoy visiting here.

January 2013 - Earthquakes and Life on Earth

“Young Burrowing Owl” by Hal Brindley

This post is a little different to what I normally write. I decided to post here a portion of an article I was writing for elsewhere. Basically, I chat briefly about my feelings about the ‘now’ of life on earth and the ‘future’ (through 2013 and beyond).
Again, as I always say with my other posts, what is written below are just ‘feelings’ and not predictions of actual events and/or prophecy. So observe them with a lateral perspective – not a literal one.

The photo of the beautiful baby owl above, I feel is somewhat symbolically related to the content of this post. “The evolution of Wisdom begins with asking “Why?”” (Louise Page 2013)

As with other years past, 2013 will experience various notable events involving earthquakes, severe weather, water and fire, and maybe even happenings emanating from our solar system/sun/space. This, though a dramatic statement, is quite predictable given the recent history of our planet.

Scientific (and other) knowledge and discovery will assist in the potential prediction, understanding and some precautions (preparation) to be taken in case an event occurs or one may be of a potential happening. Some new ‘discoveries’ will change many people’s view of our natural world. Equally, new realizations (perhaps blended with ‘old’) and further witnessing of ‘events’ of how man has impacted our natural world may cause an increase in in the volume of the people’s ‘voice’ and action.

Many more citizens (and an ever increasing number) of the world will be more questioning, inquiring, researching, studying, challenging and truth-seeking of many things to do with ‘politics’, disasters, humanity, the distribution of wealth and power, war, the heavens (space/sun), sustenance (food/water etc.), earth movements, justice/injustice and visions of the future.

Some people may become more aware of their own actions – ‘cause and effect’.  Some people may completely or make significant changes to the way they conduct their lives and their visions of the truth as they perceive it. Some may decide to live a more simple life and cease to include some or many elements of today’s technologies. I feel there may be a ‘drawing’ back to the ‘land’ – meaning many may choose to become more self-sufficient (food, fuel/power etc.) and aim to ‘work’ in harmony with nature.
Many people may feel more at peace with their Earth and some become more fearful. Some may become more at peace with their communities and others may become more fearful of theirs. Some may move to another environment altogether, further away from ‘civilization’ and aim to assimilate more with nature, and leave a hectic lifestyle/city behind.

But it’s not all gloom and doom. Greater awareness of the realities of many things will enlighten many. Such knowledge may help renew or create a greater sense of humanity, understanding and community amongst many peoples, cultures, lands and religions. Though some ‘groups’ may be further distanced from each other, causing friction. Some may discover an alternative ‘set of beliefs’ which may provide them with the inner ‘peace’ they have sought or stumbled upon. Such a personal revelation may change many previous thoughts and perspectives held.

With greater inquiry, by many, of the dynamics of the governments of their lands, some ‘communities’ may demand greater accountability of the decisions the leaders of their lands may be making for them. A revolution (of the people) of desired change may cause some communities to gather in large numbers to voice their thoughts and achieve change. For some communities, their governing ‘powers’ may move to quell such expressions, but I feel that the ‘people’ will only be empowered by this to continue their ‘cause’ and not rest until ‘answers’ are, or change is achieved.

If there are ‘secret societies’, as many people seem to be discussing openly (especially on the internet), they may become transparent and openly viewed by those not privy to the secrecy that can envelop such ‘groups’.  Greater truth and understanding of such will become clearer – the reasons for secrecy may be exposed.

Earth, through natural cycles and happenings, will always subtly (sometimes dramatically) and obviously continue changing. We will see some animal species (including sea/water life) die in numbers, migrate to other environments (waters to other waters; lands to other lands) in an attempt to survive away from the negative conditions which drove them there. Other happenings which will impact (and is obviously doing so now) the lives and living places of some species, will be man’s impact on water or land quality, and/or volume/amount of food needs. Survival instinct is a powerful thing.

There may be a renewed desire to repopulate the lands with trees/plants to give back to the planet (and animal kingdom) what we have taken away. So conservation may take on a greater energy. This desire may also further be ‘fuelled’ by man’s own sub-conscious survival instinct and feeling that if we don’t care for the planet, nature (for whatever reason) may not have the strength (in some places) to help us subsist. In some places ‘man’ will need to change/adapt to natures changes in order to survive or continue subsistence.

Many will continue to search scriptures; the writings of philosophers, scientists, wise ones, those dedicated to a cause, other professionals and non-professionals; observe earth and sun signs (behaviors) for meaning and affect, and formulate hypothesis and questions about life events.
I feel we are heading into a new age of enlightenment (understanding) of life as we know it. The resultant feelings may be a mixture of shock, excitement, fear, peace, hope, anticipation, joy, euphoria and so on and on. Some will challenge their own beliefs and others will ever more connected with their faith and beliefs. Our own personal experience of life is an individual one, so your own perceptions, understandings and values in life will unique to you.

I hope for peace and safety for all.

I will post some of my feelings regarding earthquakes a.s.a.p..
